O Brother...

A recent session gave me the opportunity to strengthen my faith in today's youth.  I worked with these twin brothers for their birthday session and was so impressed with their ease of conversation, manners, maturity, and sense of humors.  They are talented academically and artistically, as they excel in school, participate in extra curricular activities, and even play an instruments.  I enjoyed working with you, guys!  You rock...keep it up!! Here's a sneak peek from our recent session:

In honor, In reverence, In love...

I recently had the honor of shooting a dear friend's wedding.  I have known the groom for at least 6 years through church in Tampa.  He is one of the most godly, fun, sincere, and precious people I know.  And, he's really cool.  When he told me he was getting married, I didn't know his bride, but knew that she must be something really special if she was going to have the blessing of marrying Joey.  And she is!  Kristin is beautiful inside and out and her love for her savior, Jesus Christ, is evident.  Her prayers for her wedding day were that He be glorified.  And He was.  Joey and Kristin wrote their own vows, and I was literally choking back tears, trying to focus on taking pictures, not being swept up in God's amazing faithfulness.  Here are a few pictures from their special day.  Thank you, Joey and Kristin, for allowing me to capture your marriage covenant. It was a blessing :)  Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a good little boy...

What a good little boy Baby D was during our recent newborn session.  He fussed a little bit just to let his mama know he was hungry, and then it was back to dreamland for this little babe.  {*sigh*  a photographer's dream.}  Daddy A, Mama A, and I were discussing how this wonderful, easy-to-handle behavior would most definitely carry into his teen years, at least ;)  Welcome to our world, Baby D.  Congratulations, A and A.  Here are a few pictures from our newborn session:

Precious-ness

Prepare to say, "Awwww."  This little guy was 7 days old at the time of our newborn session and was just a sweet little bundle of preciousness {yes, that is a word, applicable to newborns.} Mom and Dad and I had a hard time getting him settled in for a deep sleep, but when he decided to give it up, we got some amazing pictures.  Welcome to our world, Baby J.  :)  Here's a few of my favorites:

I enjoyed meeting and visiting with your family!

Two Girls and Two Best Friends

Recently, I met up with M. and A. and their family.  We had a nice family/engagement session at the park and the beach.  At first, the girls were kind of quiet, but by the end of our session, they had me giggling and trying to keep up with them :)  Here is a sneak peek from their session.

Hope you guys like them!  God Bless :)

Perfect Pair

Tonight I met A and J for their engagement session.  He's in the Coast Guard.  She's in PR.  She is from a small town.  He gives her a hard time about it.  Together, they are just about as cute and fun as it gets.  Here are is a sneak peek of A's and J's lovey-dovey session.

Thank you, A and J, for a fun, sweet session :)

Beautiful and Bright

Tonight I had an absolute blast with High School Senior K.  She {and her folks} were fun, creative, and laid back.  K's ambition is to graduate from medical school and work in the field of cancer research.  {Yup, she's got brains and good looks!} As you can see from the pictures, she was such a natural in front of the camera, that she could use modeling as a back-up plan to med school.  Either way, her future will be beautiful and bright...just like her.
Check out some of my favorites from tonight's Senior Portrait Session:

Thanks, K, for a fun and energetic shoot.  Mom and Dad, thanks for carrying everything.  {and I mean everything!}  :)
God Bless

Sand, Smiles, and Love

Last Saturday, the G. Family was full of smiles, covered in sand, and drenched in love.  I just about melted from the adoring looks that Mama J. and Daddy L. were giving sweet baby M.  The love for their son was just radiating from their eyes.  Here are a few pictures from their recent family session.

L. and J., I hope you enjoyed your visit.  And I hope you like your pictures even more ;)
God Bless!

Family Is What It Is All About

Yesterday, I had the honor of meeting the C. Family.  They are expecting #2 very soon and Big Brother K is ready to introduce his little sister to the world of Elmo and Mickey Mouse.  If I only had one word to describe the C. Family, it would be dedication.  Parents C and J are investing in their little one's lives with such passion and dedication.  What an inspiration to us all!  I can't wait to meet baby sister.  Here are a few from our "photo-journalistic style" maternity session.
